Gretchen Walsh set a new world record in the 100m butterfly with a time of 54.33 seconds in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This achievement marks her third world record in the event within a year. Walsh previously became the first woman to swim under 55 seconds, clocking 54.60 seconds last May.
