A $35 million affordable housing development aimed at veterans has begun construction on a 2.137-acre site in Menlo Park, California. Managed by MidPen Housing, the project will include 62 apartments, primarily reserved for homeless veterans. With anticipated completion by spring 2026, the project underscores issues of veteran homelessness, as 12% of the county's homeless population are veterans.
