FOB West moves into Prescott Market
""The FOB Kitchen menu is 100% Filipino. FOB West is an homage to the places I grew up.""
""It's crunchy. It's fried. It's delicious. It's portable. It's the first thing at a 'handaan' buffet table, which is a Filipino party.""
""I'm having a grand opening on April 1, and my grandma's going to be there. She's 96. It's really exciting that she'll be able to see the second location, because she taught me how to roll lumpia.""
FOB West has joined Prescott Market's food vendor lineup for its first anniversary. Janice Dulce's FOB Kitchen, originally a pop-up, offers a menu that reflects Filipino heritage. The new location features playful dishes, including red rice and chicken kelaguen from Guam, as well as vegan jackfruit adobo tacos. Shanghai lumpia, a staple since the pop-up's inception, is made from Dulce's grandmother's recipe. Pancit, a bowl of glass noodles, is also a highlight. Dulce's grandmother, who taught her to roll lumpia, will attend the grand opening on April 1.
