Moloco has secured a 60,000-square-foot sublease from Meta for a new headquarters in Menlo Park, doubling its current office size. The move is part of Meta's broader strategy to reduce its real estate footprint. Moloco's workforce has increased nearly 80% since early 2023, reaching almost 800 employees, coinciding with a $2 billion valuation. The new office, set to open in 2026, will accommodate over 300 workers, primarily in engineering and product roles. Moloco aims to remain centrally located in Silicon Valley to attract top talent.
Moloco, which offers advertising tools for marketers and publishers and touts clients like Wayfair, Burger King, Pinterest, simply outgrew its last headquarters, Wrenn said.
The Menlo Park office is set to open at the beginning of 2026 with desks for more than 300 workers, many of whom will be engineers and product employees.
It really is a long-term investment in the Bay Area, Wrenn said. We want to continue to be based centrally in Silicon Valley, where we just have a connection to top talent in this area.
For Meta, the move is yet another chapter in a massive real estate purge - the company started the year with 11 million square feet of office space in the Bay Area and is working to shed 2 million square feet of that.
