The reductions are among the latest layoff waves to batter the Bay Area tech industry in recent weeks in what has turned out to be a brutal October and November for its workers. Over approximately the last three weeks, tech companies have notified state labor officials of decisions to eliminate slightly more than 2,000 jobs in the region."
