David Sacks is no longer the White House AI and Crypto Czar
"Sacks revealed that he had now 'used up that time,' and would now focus his energy on co-chairing the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST)."
"'I think moving forward as co-chair of PCAST, I can now make recommendations on not just AI, but on an expanded range of technology topics,' he told interviewer Ed Ludlow."
"'It's intended to be advice to the president and to the White House, to the executive offices of the president. So, yeah, we're going to study issues, make recommendations.'"
David Sacks, previously a special government employee and advisor on AI and Crypto, has announced he will no longer hold that position. He has used up his allowed time in the role and will now co-chair the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology. This new role allows him to make recommendations on a broader range of technology topics. Sacks clarified that his focus will be on providing advice to the president and the White House, rather than coordinating with federal agencies.
