This Hellish Alien World's Skies May Create an Eerie Rainbow Glory' Effect
Briefly

Astronomers have detected hints of something called 'glory' in the atmosphere of the ultra-hot Jupiter exoplanet, WASP-76b, which is located 637 light-years away. This rainbow-like effect is a rare occurrence, typically seen over Earth and Venus but now observed beyond our cosmic neighborhood.
"There's a reason no glory has been seen before outside our Solar System - it requires very peculiar conditions," says Olivier Demangeon, team leader and astronomer. These conditions include perfectly spherical atmospheric particles and precise alignment of the planet, star, and observer.
