SpaceX's Starship explodes during ascent in its seventh test flight

SpaceX's seventh test flight of the Starship ended in an explosion due to a "rapid unscheduled disassembly during its ascent burn," as noted by the company and observed by many.

Dan Huot from SpaceX communicated during the webcast that they "saw engines dropping out on telemetry" which led to the loss of contact with the upper stage of the vehicle.

Despite the explosion, SpaceX regarded the test as partially successful since the Raptor engines operated correctly during the ascent burn and the Super Heavy booster was successfully retrieved.

The Federal Aviation Administration issued a warning for pilots concerning falling debris following the Starship's incident, emphasizing the need for safety during such space operations.
