Social media captured the capsule streaking above the San Francisco sky as parachutes slowed its roughly 350 mph descent before splashdown at 12:41 a.m. Pacific. A SpaceX ship recovered the spacecraft and took aboard NASA astronauts Zena Cardman and Mike Fincke, JAXA's Kimiya Yui, and Roscosmos's Oleg Platonov. NASA said all crew are safe and undergoing post-splashdown evaluations; the ill crewmember's identity was withheld pending updates.
