FAA wants to impose more than $630K in fines for SpaceX launch violations
Briefly

The FAA alleges that SpaceX committed three safety violations in 2023 by failing to adhere to license requirements during two of its launches.
SpaceX launched a mission on June 18 despite FAA warnings that modifications to its license for the launch were not approved prior to the event.
Despite the FAA's disapproval, SpaceX proceeded with a new rocket propellant farm for its July 28 launch, resulting in additional safety violation allegations.
SpaceX faces fines totaling $633,009 for the safety violations, which includes penalties of $175,000 for each June incident and $293,009 for July.
