FAA may have just pushed back SpaceX Polaris Dawn mission after Falcon 9 mishap
Briefly

The FAA is aware an anomaly occurred during the SpaceX Starlink Group 8-6 mission that launched from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The incident involved the failure of the Falcon 9 booster rocket while landing on a droneship at sea.
This incident is the first booster landing failure we've seen in three years, which has raised concerns regarding the investigation that the FAA now requires before SpaceX can proceed with further launches.
Polaris Dawn may face additional delays as it is heavily constrained by projected splashdown conditions, and the fact that it cannot rendezvous with the ISS makes precise weather conditions critical for reentry.
Jared Isaacman emphasized the importance of ensuring reentry weather is favorable before launching Polaris Dawn, as weather conditions have already led to a prior launch postponement.
