Due to the age of the article, Extended Data Fig. 6 cannot be replaced directly; the Supplementary information published with the online version of this amendment serves to update the figure."

A figure preparation error duplicated the Mcm5 IP sample in the lower panel of Extended Data Fig. 6b, placing the same image as both the IP and the extract instead of the correct Mcm5 extract sample. The duplicated insertion affected the representation of the Mcm5 extract. Extended Data Fig. 6 cannot be replaced directly because of the age of the material. Corrected figure content is provided through Supplementary information published with the online amendment. The Supplementary information available online serves to update and correct the figure.
