Tokyo's ArkEdge Space has announced that its CubeSat, ONGLAISAT, has taken possibly the highest quality images of Earth from space, located 410 kilometers above the surface. Co-developed with Taiwan's TASA, the satellite features a sophisticated optical system, precision attitude control, and advanced imaging sensors. The images, which zoom in on regions as specific as one square kilometer, achieve resolutions between 2.5 to 3 meters. ArkEdge aims to apply this optical technology in future missions, and the ONGLAISAT mission is slated to conclude in March.
