Sharks update: Qualifying offers, dev camp roster announced
Briefly

The San Jose Sharks have issued qualifying offers to seven of their restricted free agents but are leaving four others - defenseman Calen Addison and forwards Jacob Peterson, Jack Studnicka, and Filip Zadina - free to sign with other teams.
The moves give the Sharks a bit more roster flexibility going into the first day of free agency on Monday.
The Sharks retained the negotiating rights to forwards Egor Afanasyev, Thomas Bordeleau, Brandon Coe, Ty Dellandrea, Carl Grundstrom, and defensemen Ty Emberson and Henry Thrun.
Zadina had 13 goals and 23 points in 72 games for San Jose, but he was used mainly in a depth role, averaging just over 13 minutes in ice time per game.
