Sam Dickinson signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Sharks. General manager Mike Grier praised his skillset, mentioning Dickinson's size, mobility, strong two-way game, and high hockey IQ.
Dickinson's ELC is valued at $975,000 annually for the three-year duration. He is the second 2024 first-round pick of the Sharks to sign, following Macklin Celebrini.
In the 2023-24 OHL season, Dickinson excelled with 70 points and a plus-56 rating in 68 regular-season games for the London Knights. He contributed significantly to their championship win.
