"I've actually played up top, played one-timer, played bumper, and I played goal line my senior year of college for half the year," Thrun said. "I don't know how it started. I literally played everywhere except going downhill on the strong side. I think it's a good thing because you understand who's open at certain points and areas that I see."
"I scored my first NHL goal in the bumper spot. It honestly has a soft spot in my heart," Thrun said.
"We're playing music during practice. It's freaking unreal," Thrun said. "It's awesome. I mean, you have music at practice. You have a ping pong table [in the locker room]. It's just a different vibe. I think guys are a little more energetic around the rink; at least, I sense that."
