Sharks Add Veteran Goalie Depth With Aaron Dell Signing
Briefly

"Aaron brings valuable depth and leadership to our goaltending group," Barracuda GM Joe Will said in a statement. "His passion for the game remains strong, and we believe his skill, professionalism, and work ethic will benefit all of our goalies. He'll be a great asset both on and off the ice."
This is Dell's third stint with the Sharks organization. His first stint lasted from 2014 to 2020 when he left as a free agent. He returned to the organization in 22-23 and was most recently with the Ontario Reign in 23-24.
In 12 games last season, Dell had a 7-4-1 record, a .914 save %, and a 2.57 GAA. Dell was brought to Sharks training camp on a PTO and was among the Sharks first round of roster cuts.
Askarov is still out with a lower-body injury, so adding Dell to the goaltending depth is an excellent insurance piece.
