Marleau left out of Hall of Fame's 2024 class, but another former Shark makes the cut
Briefly

Former Sharks forward Patrick Marleau was not selected for the Hockey Hall of Fame in his initial year of eligibility.
Ex-Sharks forward Jeremy Roenick, Pavel Datsyuk, and Shea Weber were among those elected to the Hall, alongside female players Natalie Darwitz and Krissy Wendell-Pohl, and builders Colin Campbell and David Poile.
Roenick played 20 NHL seasons, including two in San Jose, where he scored 46 points in the regular season and six in the playoffs.
Marleau, with 1,779 games and 566 goals, did not win a Stanley Cup but claimed two Olympic gold medals; most retired players with better stats are in the Hall.
