Former San Jose Sharks head coach Pete DeBoer named as one of Team Canada's assistant coaches for the 2025 Four Nations Face-Off.
DeBoer is joined by other assistant coaches Bruce Cassidy, Rick Tocchet, and Misha Donskov under bench boss Jon Cooper for Team Canada.
DeBoer is the only coach in Sharks history to lead the team to the Stanley Cup Final, losing to the Penguins in 2016.
DeBoer criticized the frequent coaching changes across the NHL, referencing the Sharks' recent replacement of David Quinn with Ryan Warsofksy.
