Former Sharks goalie, Los Gatos native Cooley headed to Flames
Briefly

Devin Cooley, the 27-year-old Los Gatos native, started six games for the Sharks in 2023-24 after the trade of Kaapo Kahkonen, becoming the Sharks' No. 3 netminder.
Cooley, the former Jr. Shark, had a 2-3-1 record with his first NHL victory against St. Louis Blues, appreciating the opportunity he got to represent San Jose.
Cooley expressed gratitude towards the Sharks organization and fans, vowing to continue supporting the team as a fan despite joining the Calgary Flames.
The Sharks will now seek a new No. 3 goalie post Cooley's departure, while welcoming Mackenzie Blackwood and Vitek Vanecek as part of the roster.
