The San Jose Sharks welcome the Vancouver Canucks back to SAP Center tonight for the third meeting in as many weeks between the two teams.
Both San Jose and Vancouver played yesterday. Despite leading the Montreal Canadiens by a score of 2-1 heading into the third period, the Sharks could not manage to keep Montreal off the board. The Canadiens scored in the third period and then outlasted the Sharks in the shootout to win it 3-2. Meanwhile, the Canucks are on a similar road trip to the Sharks. Game one of the two-game swing took Vancouver to Seattle last night, where the Canucks beat the Kraken 5-1.
