Tuesday BP: Bob Melvin thinks Blake Snell is pitching better than last year
Briefly

Blake Snell and Chris Sale treated us to one of the greatest pitchers' duels we'll ever see, with Snell striking out 11 batters over 6.1 innings and taking a no-hitter into the seventh.
Snell has thrown 45.1 innings, allowing just 14 hits, 14 walks, and five runs, while striking out 60 batters in his seven starts since returning from the Injured List in July.
Bob Melvin, who managed Snell in San Diego in 2023 during his Cy Young-winning season, believes Snell's current form is even better, as he seems to have a no-hitter potential every game.
