SF Giants owner Buster Posey boots kids camp from $10.4M NorCal ranch
Briefly

Buster Posey, former MLB catcher and now president of baseball operations for the San Francisco Giants, has made significant investments in property, including an $8.3 million home and a $10.4 million hunting estate. His acquisition of the Six Point Ranch has led to the closure of a long-established outdoor summer camp that promoted conservation and outdoor skills among youth. The camp’s executive director expressed disappointment, noting Posey’s lack of interest in keeping the camp operational despite his known passion for the outdoors.
Posey wasn't interested in having camps on the land. We thought for sure he would want to help, especially given his love of the outdoors.
Since opening in 1998, the camp has focused on building the next generation of outdoor and conservation leaders to ensure a bright future for California hunting.
You can't appreciate it unless you go out and do it.
Six Point Ranch is a storied property known for its tule elk, black-tailed deer and wild turkey.
