Report: SF Giants drawing 'significant trade interest' for former All-Star

All indications are that the Giants will listen to offers for Snell...But if the Giants are motivated to move him, it won't be for financial reasons. It'd be to recoup the prospect talent they sacrificed when they surrendered a third-round draft pick to sign him.
Snell's unique contract will likely make finding a trade partner tricky...ESPN's Jeff Passan expected the Giants to basically do nothing, and his colleague Alden Gonzalez added that 'rival executives expect a conservative approach' from the Giants.
