Monday BP: Who will be the Giants MVPs in 2025?
Briefly

The San Francisco Giants face an ambiguous future in 2025, where they could range from being very good to distinctly average. Their performance will heavily depend on the contributions of key players. Last season, their top five by fWAR included Matt Chapman, Logan Webb, and Patrick Bailey, suggesting a strong foundation. Predictions lean towards either Chapman or Webb leading as the top player, though a bold choice might favor Bailey due to his potential versatility and value. The article emphasizes the importance of leadership and talent in shaping the team's prospects.
The San Francisco Giants might be good in 2025, or perhaps even really good. They also might be bad, and quite possibly even really bad.
Smart money is on Webb or Chapman being the team's best player in 2025 but I'll make a slightly bold pick and predict Bailey to lead the team in fWAR.
Even the Chicago White Sox have best players. Last year the Giants five best players, by fWAR, were, in order, Matt Chapman, Logan Webb, Patrick Bailey, Blake Snell, and Tyler Fitzgerald.
if we're talking about players who bring their value to the team in multiple ways, it'll be hard for anyone to top the leadership, durability, and talent of Webb and Chapman.
