MLB insists SF Giants' suddenly see-through uniform pants are same as last year

The uniform pants have the same material and thickness as the uniform pants used last season, MLB said.

[Player concerns] have come up in conversations with players, and whether for opacity or supply, that particular portion of the uniform is a 'universal concern,' said MLBPA executive director Tony Clark.
