It's the season of many, many, many Minor League transactions... a lot of shuffling, and also, unfortunately, a lot of players seeing their dreams be dealt a serious setback.
Outfielder Jose Ortiz and second baseman Ryan Reckley... got the call to head to Low-A San Jose with the ACL season over.
What's most notable here is the name that's absent: center fielder Rayner Arias... so Arias could still find his way to San Jose in the coming days.
LHP Jack Choate got promoted from High-A Eugene to AA Richmond which is very exciting.
