San Francisco Giants acquired 35-year-old Mark Canha from Detroit Tigers for Eric Silva before the trade deadline buzzer in a last-minute deal.
Canha, originally from San Jose, former Oakland A's player, was traded from Mets to Brewers and then to Tigers last offseason, coming back to the Bay Area.
