'For us, it keeps him relevant, still alive' - Oisin Kelly's legacy endures through blood donation campaign ?
Briefly

Every Drop Counts, I Know' is the campaign that lives on in his name. This was his brainchild when bone cancer struck and his local club, Naomh Eoin in Myshall, came looking to help, in whatever way they could. A typically selfless act: this up-and-coming Carlow hurler wasn't thinking of himself but others.
It's going to give people time with their loved ones and it's going to give cancer sufferers quality time. For us, from a personal point of view, it keeps Oisín relevant, here, making a difference. And that's hugely important, on two levels. It's a really good thing to do, has a massive impact - but it keeps Oisín alive.
He'd want this to be about the blood... not about him. But still, to appreciate the importance of his campaign, it's important to understand the young man behind it. Who was Oisín Kelly?
