The Savannah Bananas are a traveling baseball team known for their unique "Banana Ball" style featuring entertainment, singing, tricks, and celebrity guests. Brees, who played for the Saints from 2006-2020 and will be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, grounded out during his at-bat and led the team in his famous pregame chant from the 2009 Super Bowl season. Shough, also a former baseball player, made an appearance on Saturday where he threw a touchdown pass and took a selfie with his temporary teammates. Both quarterbacks returned to their baseball roots during the sold-out event.
