In the top of the fourth inning, Harper was facing Giants starter Kyle Harrison with two runners on and two outs. Harrison threw a fastball up and in on Harper, leading the veteran to bark at the young pitcher.
It looked at first like a hit by pitch, but a replay review showed Harrison's pitch actually hit Harper's bat knob as the veteran turned away from the ball, keeping them at battle.
Of course, the more infamous moment came back on May 29, 2017 - Memorial Day Monday that year - when Giants reliever Hunter Strickland faced Harper for the first time since Harper took him deep twice during the 2014 playoffs.
