Davis has agreed to a $2.5 million, one-year contract with the Oakland Athletics, with the chance to earn an additional $1 million in performance bonuses.
Davis was cut by the Giants after winning his salary arbitration case. He was set to receive just over $1.1 million in termination pay instead of the $6.9 million salary.
