UGA's Ratledge out after TightRope ankle surgery
Briefly

Georgia All-America guard Tate Ratledge underwent TightRope surgery on his sprained left ankle and is expected to miss a handful of games, Bulldogs coach Kirby Smart announced Tuesday.
Smart emphasized that star quarterback Carson Beck's sprained AC joint isn't expected to sideline him, as he said, 'We've got like seven AC joint sprains, so that's not like a significant or major injury.'
Ratledge, a crucial player for the Bulldogs, was a second team All-American and first team All-SEC selection in 2023, indicating his importance to the team.
Smart stated regarding Ratledge's progress, 'We checked it the night of the game and had to get it fixed. He'll be back as soon as he can.'
