Missouri State WR Terique Owens, son of Hall of Famer Terrell Owens, worked out in front of more than 20 scouts (including 49ers) today, running the 40 in 4.51 seconds with notable jumps and measurements.
When asked about his strengths, Owens mentioned his ability to be a deep threat, make plays after catches, and challenge defenders with his speed.
Owens isn't the only son of a famed former 49ers wide receiver seeking NFL opportunities. Brenden Rice, son of legendary Jerry Rice and a former USC wide receiver, is also aiming to make his mark in the NFL.
