St. Ignatius High School has announced JaJuan Lawson as the new permanent head coach after having a successful run as interim head coach and offensive coordinator.

The transition from Vandermade to Lawson comes after Vandermade's decision to return to Southern California for a coaching position closer to home.
Lawson, a Petaluma native and former collegiate quarterback at New Mexico and Rhode Island, is excited about leading the program moving forward.
