It is Thanksgiving week in the NFL, which means a bunch of teams playing on short weeks with three games on Thursday and the league's first-ever Black Friday game with the Miami Dolphins visiting the New York Jets.
It is not often that Lions fans get a Thanksgiving game where their team is the one coming in favored. The Lions (8-2) are more than a touchdown favorite in this game. It is the first time they have been a favorite in their annual Thanksgiving Day game since the 2016 season.
There are also some huge games for playoff races around the NFL, including potential first-place showdowns in the NFC South ( New Orleans vs. Atlanta) and AFC South ( Jacksonville vs. Houston).
