Mystics acquire Kone, '26 WNBA 2nd round pick from Lynx for Hines-Allen
Briefly

The Washington Mystics have traded Myisha Hines-Allen to the Minnesota Lynx for Sika Kone, Olivia Epoupa, and a second round pick for the 2026 WNBA Draft.
Mystics General Manager Mike Thibault praised Hines-Allen, stating, 'I want to thank Myisha for all she has contributed to our organization, on and off the court.'
Trading Hines-Allen indicates that she no longer figures into the Mystics' plans, as they were looking to get value before she hits free agency.
Given that Kone is not playing much currently, it raises questions about how much playing time rookie forward Aaliyah Edwards will now receive.
