"San Francisco was one of the absolutely creative hubs in the world," said Dewey Crumpler, signaling the city's historical significance in the arts industry.
"That's real. You cannot be a working artist in San Francisco and not have rent control," remarked Krissy Keefer, underlining the challenges faced by artists in the city.
