Georgia Tech is playing a game an ocean away, but David Shanahan is punting for a home crowd
Briefly

"I'm excited for the kid to have an opportunity to go home...especially when it's far away from here," said Georgia Tech head coach Brent Key about punter David Shanahan.
"When you're 15, you're training really hard, you're in the gym really hard...the best guys in their club will get to play for their county," Shanahan reflects on his early sports career.
Shanahan thought there was a slim chance of playing in Ireland, recalling how Georgia Tech coaches dropped hints about the upcoming game during practice.
"I kind of caught on to it after a while because I knew the game was coming up...I was like, 'Oh, that's pretty sick,'" Shanahan on learning about the match.
