Demarcus Robinson pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor DUI charge, resulting in a three-year probation sentence. He must pay a $390 fine and complete a court-ordered three-month alcohol program. His attorney stated that Robinson has complied with many probation requirements and anticipates early termination at 18 months, leading to case expungement. Two related charges were dismissed. An incident last November involved Robinson driving over 100 mph in California. He signed a $9.5 million contract with the San Francisco 49ers in March after achieving career highs in his previous season with the Rams.
Mr. Robinson has taken this process extremely seriously by already completing most of the terms of his probation. We expect that his probation will terminate early at the 18-month mark after which his case will be expunged.
Robinson was charged in January after officers observed him driving more than 100 mph in a white Dodge sedan on US-101 northbound.
