49ers' Williams, Pearsall among six questionable
"Left tackle Trent Williams (right hamstring), receiver Ricky Pearsall (knee, ankle) and linebacker Dee Winters (ankle) are among six Niners on the active roster that the team is listing as questionable for Sunday. Linebacker Luke Gifford (quad), defensive lineman Keion White (groin) and cornerback Renardo Green (foot) are the others."
"Williams did not practice on Wednesday but was a limited participant on Thursday and Friday. On the other side of that, Pearsall and Winters did not participate in any of the practices this week. Williams told reporters Friday he will be a game time decision but is "confident" he will play Sunday. Pearsall was also injured in the Chicago game and did not play against Seattle. Winters suffered his injury against the Seahawks."
Six San Francisco 49ers on the active roster are listed as questionable for the NFC wild-card game, including Trent Williams, Ricky Pearsall and Dee Winters. Williams injured his right hamstring on the first offensive snap of the Dec. 28 win over the Chicago Bears and missed last week’s game against Seattle, but he practiced in a limited capacity Thursday and Friday and said he is confident he will play as a game-time decision. Pearsall and Winters did not participate in any practices this week. Coach Kyle Shanahan declined to say whether they would have been ruled out in a non-playoff game.
