According to Matt Maiocco, the San Francisco 49ers have completed interviews with former Los Angeles Chargers head coach Brandon Staley and 49ers defensive passing game specialist Nick Sorensen for the team's vacant defensive coordinator position.
Additionally, Maiocco reports that the team will likely interview at least two other candidates from outside the organization this week. However, Shanahan did not disclose the identities of these candidates.
