When two jets flew over San Francisco on Friday afternoon, it was for the home opener of the San Francisco Giants at Oracle Park. The F-15Cs were part of the opening day festivities against the San Diego Padres.
The California Air National Guard's 144th Fighter Wing was responsible for sending the two planes that took off from Fresno Yosemite International Airport. The flyover was scheduled through coordination with the U.S. Air Force, local FAA, and the Giants.
