Take the rain gear with you if you will be outside to see fireworks to ring in the new year. Rainfall totals for most cities will be around .50". New Year's Day Thursday's storm will also be a Level 1 on our Storm Impact Scale. Friday Showers are set to pick up with a Level 2 storm."
