New Year's Eve Rain will overspread the region late in the morning with steady showers continuing into the evening."
"The afternoon and evening will see steady light rain. Winds will be light, and we're not expecting downed trees or power outages. Take the rain gear with you if you will be outside to see fireworks to ring in the new year. Rainfall totals for most cities will be around .50". New Year's Day Thursday's storm will also be a Level 1 on our Storm Impact Scale. Friday Showers are set to pick up with a Level 2 storm."
