A power outage in San Francisco's Marina and Presidio neighborhoods has left more than 5,400 customers without electricity as of 11 p.m. The outage started shortly after 9 p.m. and has affected local businesses, including a Safeway that closed early. PG&E has been contacted for information regarding the cause of the outage but has not yet responded. The company anticipates restoring power to all customers by 3 a.m.
