Thousands line San Francisco's Market Street for St. Patrick's Day Parade

"This year's parade is going to be a rip roaring occasion; I'm expecting 15 to 20,000 people," said parade director, James Quinn, emphasizing the event's growth.
"It's one of the great days of the year in San Francisco. I feel Irish today," remarked Mayor Daniel Lurie, reflecting on the city's vibrant atmosphere.
"We have a lot of officers in the parade, but we're also fully deployed," noted Police Chief Bill Scott, emphasizing public safety during the festivities.
