A San Francisco sheriff's deputy was fired after allegedly engaging in sexual misconduct with an incarcerated person in a County Jail No. 2 bathroom on Sept. 19. The deputy was banned from entering San Francisco jails on Oct. 10 and listed as "no longer employed." The deputy joined the department in June 2024 and became a full deputy in January after serving as a cadet and property keeper. The Sheriff's Office said it took immediate action to prevent further inmate contact.
