San Jose police seize illegal drugs, arrest three in separate cases
Briefly

Three individuals were arrested last week in San Jose as authorities seized more than 130 pounds of illegal drugs. An investigation led to search warrants executed on June 25, unveiling 72 pounds of cocaine, 2½ pounds of crack cocaine, MDMA, fentanyl, and large amounts of cash. In a separate case on June 26, officers arrested two occupants of a stolen vehicle, discovering 62 pounds of methamphetamine, heroin, an unregistered handgun, and evidence of identity theft and drug sales. Both cases highlight significant drug trafficking activities in the area.
A 32-year-old San Jose man was arrested and booked into Santa Clara County jail on charges related to the possession, sale and transportation of illegal drugs.
Officers found evidence of drug manufacturing and sales, including roughly 72 pounds of cocaine, 2½ pounds of crack cocaine, a pound of MDMA, an ounce of fentanyl and $85,000 in cash.
Officers also searched a hotel room linked to the pair and seized 62 pounds of methamphetamine, 2 pounds of heroin, an unregistered handgun, $28,000 in cash, burglary tools, and evidence of illegal drug sales and identity theft.
The drugs had a street value of about $4 million.
