SAN JOSE Police were seeking the public's help Thursday in locating a child who was the victim in an apparent parental kidnapping the day before.Crystal Mendez, was suspected of abducting her 2-year-old daughter, Tayana Lewis, from a San Jose residence in the 5000 block of Charlotte around 3 p.m. Wednesday, according to police.
