The Function is a brand new Black-owned comedy club in San Francisco hosting an eleven-night Oktoberfest comedy series from October 2–12, 2025. Showtimes run Sunday–Thursday with shows at 7:00 and 8:30 p.m., and Friday–Saturday with shows at 7:00 and 9:00 p.m. Free admission is available for the first 40 RSVP guests per show; otherwise admission is $20 at the door. The lineup features top-tier comedians who regularly perform at Punchline, Cobb's, and SF Sketchfest in an intimate, up-close setting. A limited-edition Shiner Oktoberfest lager (5.7% ABV) is available while supplies last with only 120 bottles; pours are $9 each ($7 during happy hour). Happy hour runs Monday–Friday from 5:00–7:00 p.m. with $1 off most beers, rotating $5 shots, $5 cans (Tecate/PBR), $6 draft daily specials, and a $7 Oktoberfest Märzen option.
